Overview
BofA Carbon Tracker
The Carbon Tracker is a feature that assigns a carbon footprint to a user's spending. It was created to help clients understand how everyday purchases impact the environment. This feature lives within the existing banking app experience. As a visual design lead, I contributed to building a pattern library to maintain consistency across multiple products. We used existing and new brand patterns to create an effortless and engaging experience. I also led the creation of the illustrations used throughout.

Tracker Dashboard
The dashboard is the central hub for all carbon emissions data relating to your spending. Research showed that users wanted to know what the score meant and where it came from. They also wanted to know how to improve if it was too high. Because of this, Education became a staple in the dashboard experience. To support the data, we included a module that compares your emissions footprint with real-life examples and how you compare it to other countries. We integrated tip cards based on the user's responses to the initial questionnaire.

Questionnaire
Each user has the option to complete a questionnaire. The questionnaire helped tailor their experience based on their needs and knowledge of a carbon footprint.
